2. Pre-Co-op Vacation Time

The Co-op program at TSoM is a unique program that includes an internship (both paid and unpaid) at a local company while attending the college. Popular for study abroad and study leave programs as it allows students to not only study at school but also gain valuable work experience abroad.

TSoM's Co-op program allows students to take a solid vacation period after classes in the first half of the program, enabling them to spend time looking for a job or work part-time without having to worry about classes.

The campus offers a variety of job hunting workshops such as resume writing, setting up LinkedIn accounts, salary negotiation and job fairs, as well as opportunities to meet directly with company personnel, thus ensuring that students are well prepared for their co-op experience, rather than having to wait for opportunities to open up.

3. Solid Connections with Companies

TSoM has extremely strong corporate ties with more than 130 existing Co-op partners. Many TSoM students have internships in the city and have proven their performance.

Held on campus four times a year, the Job Fair is participated by approximately 40 Co-op partner companies, allowing students to speak directly with HR personnel and providing students with an early understanding of the essential points to consider when looking for employment in Canada.

As a local private college, TSoM is well equipped with many facilities. Students have access to a library, student lounge, café, kitchen and many other facilities. Programs

• English for Academic Purposes(EAP)

  This program is mandatory for students who do not have an English proficiency test score to begin the following specialized programs.
  
  The minimum enrollment is 4 weeks, with 30 lessons per week of 40 minutes per lesson. The class structure is conducted either online only or in a hybrid face-to-face/online format. Starting dates are once a month allowing for flexibility in starting the program.

• Business Programs

  This program is designed to provide students with the necessary business skills and consists of six different courses. Students study Sales and Marketing Techniques, Human Resource Management and Finance. Most courses are followed by participation in a Co-op Program, which is required for graduation, allowing students to acquire practical skills.
  
  The duration of courses varies ranging from 8 months to 25 months, with three or six start dates per year, depending on the course.

  This program is designed to provide students with the necessary business skills and consists of six different courses.   This program is a valid career path to a position related to Big Data with only one course available. Four modules are incorporated with the aim of developing SQL (Structured Query Language), a database language, Excel and presentation skills.
  
  With three start dates per year, this 52-week course (approximately 1 year) requires students to participate in a 240-hour internship during the second 12 weeks of the course.

• Information TechnologyPrograms

  There is only one course offered in this program which is designed to provide students with basic knowledge of Cybersecurity. Students will complete 8 modules to improve their knowledge of tools such as Wireshark and PHP (Hypertext Preprocessor) and programming skills, as well as other software skills that are essential for businesses.
  
  With three start dates per year, this 51-week course (approximately 1 year) requires students to participate in a 240-hour internship during the second 12 weeks of the course.

The TSoM campus is located in downtown Toronto, in an area with excellent accessibility.

Students can easily stroll to the CN Tower and the Harbourfront, two of Toronto's most popular tourist attractions, or take a break after school with friends in the nearby cafes, restaurants or eateries.
