All passengers can personally choose their in-flight meals up to 24 hours prior to their flight. Air Astana serves up an array of local and international dishes, as well as kid's menu for young passengers.
The check-in counter closes 40 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time. Nomad Club is Air Astana's frequent flyer program and allows passengers to earn miles to be used for flight upgrades and free flights. Upon initial sign-up, a passenger will qualify for a Blue Membership and will subsequently be upgraded when he meets the required points for the next tier. The highest card tier for the Nomad Club is Gold Elite. Currently, points can only be earned through purchasing an air ticket on Air Astana and its affiliates.
Air Astana does not currently belong to any airline alliance, although they have partnerships with Lufthansa and Asiana Airlines that allows passengers to share and use miles between the airlines.
Air Astana ticket holders can check-in online from 24 hours up to 60 minutes prior to the departure time. When checking in online, passengers can pre-select seats free of charge. Passengers who have completed the online check-in procedures must print their boarding pass and bring it with them when going to the airport.
