Biman Bangladesh Airlines offers excellent on board services to its air ticket holders. They offer delicious snacks, meals and beverages depending on the duration of the flight, air ticket class and the time of day. Medical issues like allergies to certain foods are also taken care of by Biman Bangladesh Airlines as long as at the time of purchasing an air ticket a special request was made.

Biman Bangladesh Airlines offers complimentary in-flight meals on most of their flights with a selection of snacks and beverages to choose from. Special meals can be booked in advance for religious purposes and various other reasons.

Biman Bangladesh Airlines has also launched its in-flight bi-monthly magazine known as Bihanga. It has also started in-flight duty-free sales branded as Biman Boutique which include duty-free products like perfumes, cosmetics, jewelry, watches, children’s games, tobaccos and so on. Biman Bangladesh Airlines has recently launched Amenity Kids for children on board, which is a pack that includes coloring books, stationery, dolls and a jigsaw puzzle. These exclusive services are only offered to air ticket holders flying with Biman Bangladesh Airlines.

Biman Bangladesh Airlines Boeing 777 has the latest in-flight entertainment facilities. All seats are fitted with personal touch screen displays, loaded with movies, songs and games. The live flight information and high resolution moving maps are available in Bengali and English.

Biman Bangladesh Airlines has a frequent flyer and mileage program called the Biman Loyalty Club which allows passengers to earn miles and points. Air miles earned can be used to buy flights, for flight upgrades and other services such as lounge access and priority boarding. Miles earned with Biman are valid for a period of two years.

Biman Bangladesh is not part of any global airline alliance and points cannot be shared between other airlines.

Air ticket holders should check-in at the airport counter 45-120 minutes before the departure of both international and domestic flights.

In association with the German e-ticketing company, Hahn Air, Biman Bangladesh Airlines has launched the e-air ticket service. It enables customers to purchase an air ticket online and enables air ticket holders to check-in online thus avoiding long queues at check-in counters at the airport. This service also allows air ticket holders to select their preferred choice of seat or make special requests.
