Caribbean Airlines is the national airline of Trinidad and Tobago, a small island nation in Central America. Don't confuse it with Aero Caribbean, a different airline that operates domestic flights within Cuba. Caribbean Airlines was founded in 2006 after BWIA West Indies Airways, which was based in the West Indies, ceased operations. Caribbean Airlines took over BWIA's routes. Today, Caribbean Airlines flies to large North American cities like New York and London. It also has an extensive network of flights within Central America and the Caribbean islands. Interestingly, Caribbean Airlines even flies to Princess Juliana International Airport on the island of Saint Maarten, which is famous for large planes landing close to the beach.
Caribbean Airlines is recognized for the beautiful livery of its Boeing 737-800 aircraft. It was even selected as one of the "20 Airlines with the best livery" by the American travel information website "Skift." The color scheme of an airline's livery plays a significant role in enhancing its public image and appeal. While the livery on the Boeing 737-800 is relatively simple, with the airline's logo on a white background, it effectively captures the essence of the Caribbean with its depiction of the blue sea and sky, complemented by the tropical colors of the logo. This design evokes a sense of being in a tropical paradise, enhancing the travel experience for passengers.
