Voice of Travelers to Daegu
Family holiday in Daegu
We recently visited Daegu with my extended family for a wedding. We traveled by Korean Air. The airline gave us a group ticket package, so we saved on our travel expenses. They had nice meals and enjoyable inflight entertainment. In Daegu, we checked in at the Grand Daegu Hotel. After the wedding, we had an opportunity to tour the city. We visited Daegu National Museum, Daegu Arboretum, and Daegu Duryu Park. The most interesting site for me was the Daegu Yangnyeongsi Museum of Oriental Medicine. The museum was a perfect place to learn about Korean traditional medicine.
Graduation ceremony in Daegu
Last month I visited Daegu for my daughter's graduation ceremony. I flew with China Eastern Airlines on economy class ticket. Their services were great and I was able to preorder a special diet. The flight attendants were very concerned and helpful. The ceremony was in the Catholic University of Daegu. This was a very significant milestone in my daughter's life, so we decided to have a holiday in Daegu before going back home. We stayed at Novotel Ambassador Daegu, which had a fascinating view of the city. We visited Daegu Art Museum, Dongje Art Museum, and Suseong Lake. I got also got a souvenir at the Seomun Market Station.
