Air Serbia, formerly known as JAT Airways, was once the national airline of Yugoslavia. In 2013, the airline was rebranded as Air Serbia after Etihad Airways from the United Arab Emirates acquired a 49% stake and entered into a five-year management agreement. Air Serbia shares its frequent flyer program with its parent company, Etihad Airways. The airline operates direct flights from most major European cities to Belgrade, Serbia’s capital. Additionally, through codeshare agreements, Air Serbia connects travelers to destinations in North America (New York, Chicago, Miami), Asia (Bangkok, Beijing, Hong Kong, Seoul, Singapore, and others), and Australia.
Tickets can be booked directly via the Air Serbia official website. Online check-in is available, though some routes may not support this option. During online check-in, passengers can select their seats for a more personalized travel experience.
