The airline originally was incorporated in April of 1992, but did not begin operations as an air taxi operator until 1993. Before its decline in operations, Jet Airways was the second largest airline in India. The main hub of Jet Airways is based in Mumbai but the airline is currently grounded in operations for the time being.

First Class
Jet Airways offers three classes of on-board accommodation: First Class, Premiere, and Economy tickets. First class air ticket holders will enjoy their own private bedroom aboard the aircraft with dual sliding doors and a seat that transforms into a bed. In addition a 5 course meal is offered paired with award winning wines and whiskeys.
Premiere Class
Premiere class air ticket holders can enjoy lie-flat beds that are surrounded by a wall of privacy. Premiere class passengers will also enjoy a fine dining experience of various cuisines that can be ordered at any time during their flight.
Economy Class
Economy class air ticket holders can enjoy innovately designed reclining seats with ‘hammock’ headrests. Meals for economy class passengers are carefully designed to combine Indian and international cuisines.

Q. How do I collect mileage points?
A. Unfortunately, as Jet Airways is not associated with SkyTeam or any other major airline partnership, mileage points collected on your account are not valid for tickets on any other airlines. However, JetPrivilege’s affiliates are more than enough to keep you content. To collect mileage points, simply enter your account number when booking a ticket. About the Mileage Program of Jet Airways
JetPrivilege is Jet Airways’ frequent flyer program. Jet Airways does not operate in association with a major airline alliance, so your miles will not be valid on tickets with other airlines. JetPrivilege offers five tiers of membership: Blue, Blue Plus, Silver, Gold, and Platinum. Platinum and Gold members are allowed access to Jet Airways lounges, and can be rewarded with free upgrades.

Online Check-In
Jet Airway air ticket holders can check-in online via their website, as well as on the Jet Airways app available Google Play and the Apple app store. Please keep in mind that Jet Airways closes both physical and digital ticket check-ins 45 minutes before the actual flight.
Counter Check-In
If you prefer having your ticket printed at the airport or have check-in baggage, check-in counters are available at your local airport. Please remember be at the airport at least two or three hours before your flight to check in for international flights, and at least one and a half if domestic.
