Kosovo - Major Tourist Attractions & UNESCO World Heritage Sites
Kosovo - Major Tourist Attractions
Prishtina, the capital of Kosovo, has survived the conflict and is undergoing rapid reconstruction. A new architectural culture is blossoming around the old town, where buildings from the Ottoman Empire still stand, including the eccentrically designed National Library. The suburbs of Prishtina are also a source of inspiration, including the Grachanitsa Monastery and the Gadime Caves. Prizren, the second largest city after the capital of Kosovo, is famous for its diverse culture and the traditional craft of silversmithing, Filigrii. The historic streets and Orthodox churches and mosques can be seen in this city.
Kosovo - UNESCO World Heritage Sites
There is one World Heritage Site in Kosovo. It is the “Medieval Monuments of Kosovo” cultural heritage site. However, since Kosovo is not a signatory to the World Heritage Convention, it is registered as a World Heritage Site of Serbia. There are monasteries and churches of the Serbian Orthodox Church. The registration was decided because of the beauty of the Renaissance-style architecture and medieval frescoes and their state of preservation.
Kosovo- Souvenirs
Kosovo offers unique souvenirs that reflect its rich cultural heritage, including handmade carpets, intricate embroidery, and traditional woodcrafts. Local markets in Pristina, such as the Old Bazaar, are great places to shop for these authentic items, along with artisanal jewelry and regional wine. A ticket to Kosovo and fantastic flight
Since Kosovo is not that famous we were apprehensive about the trip despite the ticket in hand. The ticket to Kosovo gave me a beautiful journey starting from the in-flight experience. We had our ticket from Adria Airlines and had an easy journey. The ticket booking staff were friendly.
The Airlines allowed passengers online checking, irrespective of the ticket class. There was no delay at the time of boarding. The catering was good. They served meals 2 times, and the food was warm and tasty. I can confidently recommend that people buy their ticket on Adria Airlines.
Nothing went Wrong after I purchased the ticket
For an unscheduled business trip to Kosovo, I purchased an air ticket to Pristina. The inflight service was excellent.
There was no delay to receive baggage at Kosovo. There was enough legroom, and the food was also great. I would love to fly with Lufthansa again, I shall be booking my ticket in advance to avoid last minute confusions. Thank you, Lufthansa, especially your online ticket service.
A Pleasant Kosovo Trip with Turkish Airlines Ticket
I booked my online ticket with Turkish Airlines to Kosovo. I had booked my meals at the time of ticket booking. The meal was served at the right time, and it was delicious. It was indeed one of the best flight services I have experienced, and worth the value of the ticket.
