Mongolian Airlines was founded in 1956. It started operations by using Aeroflot and started flights on July 7, 1956 through utilizing an Antonov An-2 from Irkutsk to Ulaanbaatar. Mongolian Airlines also used Soviet-made Ilyushin Il-14s for worldwide flight destinations, like Moscow and Beijing. Through the 1960s and 1970s, the airline acquired the Antonov An-24 plus An-26 double turboprops.

I traveled with Mongolian Airlines from Ulaanbaatar to Seoul. The level of professionalism appears to be growing each time I use this service. The plane was comfortable and the ongoing service was very acceptable. First and foremost, the flight remained at the timetabled, which is a rarity in this right section of the world! The air ticket price is very reasonable.
This was my first time using this air carrier. The flight was comfortable since it wasn’t full or overbooked. The meal seemed to be of normal quality like other air carriers. The crew members were nice and well-groomed and provided good service. The air ticket counters are also excellent.
