Voice of Travelers to Mombasa

My first wedding on a beach.

Last April, I travelled to Mombasa for my nephew's wedding that was held at Diani Beach. I travelled by Turkish Airlines and their services went beyond my expectations. I was able to reserve and pay for my ticket online. I was happy to get a discounted ticket from my agent. They had special meals service so, getting a diabetic meal that I had ordered while reserving my ticket was not a problem. I was also able to send messages to my family using their inflight communication service. My unforgettable experience in Mombasa was the whale shark tour at the East Africa Whale Shark Trust.

My honeymoon in Mombasa

My husband and I chose Mombasa as our destination of choice for our honeymoon. We travelled from Nairobi to Mombasa and back using Kenya Airways. We reserved return tickets which were way cheaper than one way tickets . We contacted our travel agency and made payment for the tickets via mobile money. My husband's name was wrongly written on the ticket but the staff glady took us through the process of correcting it.The cabin crew were friendly and very helpful to us. At Mombasa, we stayed in a resort along the beach. Their rooms were clean with excellent services. We enjoyed the beach, coastal cuisine and Taarab music.Mombasa was magnificient, I would like to visit again.
