Raising our children, however, was a difficult job and we never got around to actually buying a ticket. After they left, I told my husband we need to buy a ticket to a good location now. Hey this is Jack. I visited Noumea with my girlfriend this Summer. My girlfriend wanted to buy the ticket for winter. However, I was interested in buying it for Summer. Eventually, we bought our ticket June because she could not get off from work from Winter. We really enjoyed the amalgamation of French with indigenous culture in Noumea. We tried to speak French so many times. Being Americans, the cuisine and architecture in Noumea looked very exotic. We had fine cheese, coconuts and yams. It was a very relaxing experience.
