Pacific Coastal Airlines was established in 1987 through the merger of Powell Air and Air BC. Based in Vancouver, the largest city in British Columbia, the airline operates as a regional carrier with a network covering 14 cities within the province. The fleet consists entirely of twin-engine propeller aircraft, with the largest being the Saab 340B, which accommodates up to 34 passengers. While Pacific Coastal Airlines does not offer a mileage program, it provides a prepaid membership system called QuickPass. Members enjoy benefits such as priority boarding, priority standby (allowing same-day flight purchases on earlier flights), and access to a dedicated member portal for booking, flight changes, checking flight status, and monitoring prepaid balance.
Flights can be booked online through the official website. The airline does not offer separate cabin classes. You can also modify or confirm your reservation through the website. Check-in is recommended at least 45 minutes before flight departure (check-in is available only at the airport). At Vancouver International Airport, check-in counters are located at the South Terminal, separate from the main terminal. A complimentary shuttle bus is available for transportation between the terminals.
