Philippine Airlines flight check-in can be done both online and at the airport in person. The online option allows air ticket holders to check-in and select their preferred seating before arriving at the airport. Air ticket holders should receive a confirmation of the booking and a valid e-ticket. Online check-in is available from 24 hours up to one hour prior to the scheduled departure time. At the airport, present your online check-in, boarding pass and valid travel documents (passport) at the Online Check-in Bag Drop Counter.
Philippine Airlines offer a number of different fare classes within its Economy Class; namely Economy Supersaver, Economy Saver, Economy Value and Economy Flex. While it's based on availability and routes, Economy Supersaver and Saver fares are often much cheaper, albeit with some restrictions, such as earning less mileage points and without a free baggage allowance. Economy Flex allows for a little more flexibility allowing for changes and cancellations for an additional fee. There is also Premium Economy for some additional benefits to Economy Class at an extra cost.
For an extra cost, Philippine Airline's Premium Economy offers a number of additional comforts to Economy Class. Seats are slightly bigger and come with a power outlet that isn't offered in PAL's Economy Class.
PAL's Business Class is exceptional and often much cheaper than business class in other airlines. The airline staff are particularly welcoming and always at hand for business class passengers.
Note that Philippine Airlines does not have a first class, their business class is the highest price bracket for tickets.
