Secondary hubs serving Saudia are located at King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh and King Fahd International Airport in Dammam. Saudia was established in 1945, from a twin-engine plane given as a gift to King Abdul Aziz by U.S. President, Franklin Roosevelt. Saudia has grown since then and is currently the third largest airline in the Middle East. Saudia is a member of the Arab Air Carriers Organization and joined the SkyTeam Alliance in 2012.

It was my first time flying with Saudia from Jeddah to Manchester. I was flying on Guest class, but the service was comparable to first class cabin service! The seats were very comfortable and there was plenty of legroom compared to other airlines. When I arrived in Manchester early next morning, I was well rested and ready for the day ahead. I will definitely book an air ticket with Saudia again!
We flew from Toronto to Jeddah for a meeting. The Saudia flight departed and arrived on time and we were greeted by really friendly and accommodating staff on board. We also flew with Saudia on our way home to Toronto, and the service was equally great, not to mention the food was top-notch! We even recommended flying with Saudia to our colleagues. I look forward to our next business trip on Saudia!
Special meals can be requested at the time of booking your Saudia air ticket online. You can select your meal preferences from a drop down list. Requests must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.
An e-ticket serves the same purpose as a paper air ticket, however, all information on an e-ticket is electronically stored, hence the name. When an air ticket is issued as an e-ticket, the passenger will receive an e-ticket receipt instead of a paper ticket and the e-ticket should be presented at the airport.
Passengers with no prior reservation are advised to contact the Saudia sales office at the airport and make necessary arrangements. Additional fees may have to be paid and the passenger will be issued a stand-by air ticket.
Saudia offers the ‘Alfursan’ membership for free, simply by signing up on the website. Points earned with Alfursan are not limited for purchasing an air ticket, they can also be earned by spending on Saudia affiliates. Alfursan points can be used to buy an air ticket on Saudia, on upgrades, and additional baggage allowance. Members are initially designated to the Blue membership tier, and as points are accumulated, can qualify for upgrades to Silver and Gold tiers. Alfursan points can also be used to purchase an air ticket with other SkyTeam Alliance member airlines.
