Customers with SAS can choose seats from three classes: SAS Go, SAS Plus, and SAS Business. Their version of Economy Class, SAS Go has comfortable seats at an affordable price point. Meals are included for flights to and from Asia and the US and snacks and drinks can be purchased on flights within Europe.
Similar to Premium Economy in other airlines, SAS Plus offers wider seats, extra legroom and higher quality food for a slightly higher price. Other extras that are included are a slightly larger entertainment system, free WiFi on some flights and seat selection.
Air ticket buyers who choose SAS Business Class have separated cabins for maximum comfort, privacy, and luxury. The seats, have extra width with a massage function, and can stretch out to become beds. Free Wi-fi, and an HD entertainment system on 39 cm screens are all available for SAS Business Class travelers.
The frequent flyer and mileage program of SAS is called EuroBonus. Members who join EuroBonus can accumulate points on flights, hotel stays, car rentals, and everyday purchases. The points can be redeemed with either Scandinavian Airlines or its many partners. EuroBonus offers its members four levels of membership, ranging from a basic Member to Diamond.
SAS is part of Star Alliance and is partnered with airlines such as ANA, United and Air Canada.
SAS Customers have four methods of check-in: online check-in, mobile check- in, and check-in at an airport kiosk or counter. With online check-in, passengers can choose their seat or change their seat 22 hours to 1 hour before departure. Air ticket buyers with Scandinavian Airlines can purchase lounge access for 30 USD. Mobile check-in requires air ticket buyers to download the SAS app on their smartphone. Check-in at the kiosk and counter are the more traditional way to check-in.
