UNI Air, also known as Lìróng Hángkōng in Chinese, was established in 1991 as a subsidiary of EVA Air (Changrong Airlines), which was founded in 1989. UNI Air primarily operates domestic flights within Taiwan as well as short-haul international routes to China, South Korea, and Vietnam. Its domestic network focuses on connecting Taiwan's main island with offshore destinations such as Kinmen Island, Penghu Islands (Magong), and Matsu Islands.
