This was the only direct flight available, so it was an unconditional choice. It was comfortable and reasonable for the price.
The reason for minus one star is that only one of the earphones produced sound, and the cause was not a problem with the earphones. It was left as it was.

The staff was courteous and friendly.
Also, the in-flight meals were delicious.

I was anxious until the day of the flight because I had searched for the cheapest ticket, but I was able to use it without incident. United Airlines was very good. The service was excellent. The connection time on the return trip was short and difficult.

Boarded Economy Class. (1) Before check-in, there was an indication of an upgrade, so I designated it, but when I had even selected my seat, I was told, "Your ticket does not allow for an upgrade. " I was told "Your ticket is not upgradeable". I don't think it is necessary to display the selection screen from the beginning because the ticket information is already inputted. I think there is no need to show the selection screen from the beginning, since our ticket information is typed in. The seats hardly reclined at all, and the 10-plus hour flight was nothing but a hardship. The United Airlines departure lobby at Los Angeles International Airport does not have many souvenirs. I would like to see more stores opened to offer a wider range of purchase options.

The in-flight service was satisfactory and the flight was on time. I am generally satisfied.

It was a little smaller than in the past, but the service and food were good.

My child is allergic to wheat and eggs, so we had a gluten-free meal and a child's meal for the return flight!

I purchased the ticket because it was listed as economy, but in fact it was basic economy, with charges for seat selection and baggage check.
I thought it would be better if the category was correctly described.

There was a Japanese member of the crew, and I am grateful for his kindness.
