A layover in San Salvador with a ticket to Peru
I traveled on an onward ticket from Mexico through San Salvador to Peru. My ticket agent suggested the layover in San Salvador. I have never been to San Salvador before so I decided to visit it before continuing on to Peru. This onward ticket was a bit expensive, but the transportation and hotel in San Salvador were actually included in the price fo the ticket. I purchase the ticket with Air Mexico. Once aboard Air Mexico, I was given great service, including a meal. When I landed in Sa Salvador, a taxi was waiting for me to take me to my hotel downtown. San Salvador is a great city. I enjoyed my visit of San Salvador even more than my stay in Peru. I am happy that I wasn't counting money when I decided for this airfare ticket which allowed me to discover San Salvador.
Visiting San Salvador for a conference
I visited San Salvador last year for a conference. I was invited, so all my costs in San Salvador were covered with the hosting university of San Salvador. I enjoed the first class service aboard the Air France flight from Paris to San Salvador since the university booked a first class airfare ticket for me. This return ticket was probably quite pricey, but I just enjoyed the services. Once in San Salvador, I rebooked my ticket to include Tegucigalpa on my way from San Salvador to Paris.
