My girlfriend and I, living in kengtung decided to make short trip vacation to Yangon last fall. We took a break from work and flew to Yangon and as we had already planned, enjoyed the recreational activities in Yangon. We bought tickets to Yangon online after a referral from a friend. Purchasing the tickets online was cheaper compared to visiting the travel agents who sold their tickets more expensive compared to the online tickets. When purchasing a ticket to Yangon as an international traveler, it is advisable to purchase your ticket six weeks prior to your departure, tickets are cheaper during this period. We chose to travel by aeroplane, we didn't want to waste time travelling by road. Yangon Airways offered 4% off their ticket for any one visiting Yangon. The experience enjoying the outdoor activities, exploring the scenic and historic sites in Yangon was awesome. We came back rejuvenated and we are on course to achieve our respective goals in our places of work.
