I traveled on an onward ticket from Tokyo to Cebu and from Cebu to Manila. My flight was with Cebu Pacific and I stopped in Cebu City for two full days. An onward ticket with stop in Cebu cost me less than a direct ticket from Tokyo to Manila and I opted for this ticket because I had long wanted to visit Cebu. I flew on a return ticket which was booked for a direct flight from Manila to Tokyo, without another stop in Cebu. Both flights were with Cebu Pacific which has beautiful, clean aircrafts and good service. I do not regret buying this ticket instead of a cheaper ticket straight to Manila.

Visiting Cebu for a convention

I visited Cebu last year for a an international convention. Since I was invited as a speaker, all my costs in Cebu were covered by a home institution in Cebu. I enjoyed the first class service aboard the Cebu Pacific from Seoul to Cebu as the return ticket was booked for me in this way. Judging by the quality of service, I would say that such a ticket was very likely expensive. Cebu Pacific delivered truly great service both onboard and on the ground. Once I landed in Cebu, I was accommodated in a very good hotel downtown Cebu. I ended up rebooking my return ticket from Cebu for two days later than the date of my original ticket was. I would like to visit Cebu again.
