Experience at Doha
I bought a ticket for my wife and me to Doha for last spring. While we were planning to go somewhere cooler, I was getting a discounted ticket so bought the ticket. My wife does not particularly like hot weather and was apprehensive about visiting the Middle East. She even fought with me saying I should not have bought the ticket. Anyway, we availed the ticket and got there in February. She surprising really enjoyed the balmy weather, walking by the coast. The shopping experience was great. My wife got to visit many Souks, their traditional bazaars. We stayed in one of the Souq Waqif Boutique Hotels where we got an authentically Arab but luxurious experience. We also visited a Turkish Spa and dined in fine Moroccan restaurants. Lastly, we visited the Gold market where I got my wife lots of gold jewelry. She was a happy camper in the end! Ticket well availed, I would say.
