[Meguro/Harajuku/Osaka] Japan’s First! Interact with Micro Pigs at “mipig cafe” 🐷💕

B! LINE

Starting with cat cafes, in recent years places where you can casually interact with animals—like hedgehog cafes and Shiba‑in u cafes—have been on the rise. For an animal lover like me, all of these cafes are enchanting spots… Among them, I’ve long been drawn to tiny pigs, and it turns out there are two locations in Tokyo and one in Osaka where you can meet micro pigs!

This time, I’m introducing the much‑talked‑about micro pig cafe “mipig cafe”!
(*Reservations are required at all locations.)

What Is a Micro Pig?

A micro pig is even smaller than a mini pig. When fully grown, it’s about the size of a medium‑sized dog and weighs around 40 kg. The micro pigs at mipig cafe are, in human years, roughly the age of kindergarteners.

This micro pig boom began in the U.K. and has become popular among celebrities. They’re intelligent, making them easy to keep and care for as pets.

Even dignified micro pigs at the mipig cafe Meguro store…

What You Can Do at the Micro Pig Cafe

At the micro pig cafe you can, of course, interact with the pigs, and you’re free to take photos and videos. There’s also a feeding experience. Ask the staff if you’d like to hold one.

Please note that, under certain conditions, some visitors may not be allowed entry—check the website for details.
