As a general guide: free up to 7 days before departure, 20-30% of the usage fee 2-6 days before, 40-50% the day before, 50% on the day (before departure), and 100% if you miss the departure time or do not contact the store. Note that "non-refundable" plans are charged a 100% cancellation fee from the time of booking. Please note that if more than 1 hour passes after your reservation time without contact, it will be treated as a cancellation. For plans paid in advance by card, the difference after deducting the cancellation fee will be refunded later.

CDW is included as standard and covers the excess amount (out-of-pocket cost) you would otherwise bear in the event of an accident. As a guide, the excess is approximately ¥50,000 for property damage and approximately ¥50,000-¥100,000 for vehicle damage. Separately, the Non-Operation Charge (NOC), which applies when the vehicle cannot be used for business due to an accident, is handled apart from CDW and is approximately ¥20,000 if the vehicle is still drivable or approximately ¥50,000 if it is not. Some plans also offer additional paid options, such as coverage that waives the NOC. If you wish to extend or return the car early after pickup, please contact the store you are using directly. Whether this is possible, and any additional fees or refunds, vary by rental car company, store, and plan. If your plans are likely to change, we recommend contacting the store as early as possible.
