With skyticket, you can search for rental cars all across Japan. One of the features of skyticket Rental Car is that you can pick up a rental car directly at the airport you use, such as New Chitose Airport and Naha Airport. One-way returns over long distances are also available, and you can search for nearby rental cars too. Of course, you can also book rental cars at central Tokyo locations like Shinjuku Station and Tokyo Station. If you already know which airport or station you want to rent from, try searching from the Airports, Stations, or Ferry Terminals pages.

All plans offered by skyticket include the Collision Damage Waiver (CDW). Since coverage is included even in the event of an accident, you can use the service with peace of mind.
For those who want more comprehensive coverage, additional protection options — such as NOC (Non-Operation Charge) waiver coverage — can be added for an extra fee. -
With skyticket, you can book up to as little as 1 hour before departure (varies by plan, branch, and availability). Same-day bookings for urgent use are also accepted, but popular plans tend to fill up quickly, so we recommend booking early.
In particular, during peak seasons such as holidays, the chances of securing your preferred vehicle type and price can vary greatly — early booking is strongly advised. -
Yes, skyticket supports "one-way" rentals where the drop-off location differs from the pick-up location. This enables efficient travel planning such as inter-airport trips or one-way journeys. (Not all plans are eligible.)
On the search screen, specify different pick-up and drop-off locations to view available plans. -
The Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) covers the "excess amount (out-of-pocket cost)" you would bear in the event of an accident.
Rental cars come with standard insurance coverage, but there is typically a certain excess amount you must pay when a claim is made.
Property damage excess: approx. ¥50,000
Vehicle damage excess: approx. ¥50,000–¥100,000
By purchasing the CDW, this out-of-pocket excess is waived.
NOC (Non-Operation Charge) coverage is a separate type of protection from the CDW.
CDW covers: the customer's share of repair costs
NOC covers: loss of income during the period the vehicle cannot be used for business (self-drivable: approx. ¥20,000 / non-drivable: approx. ¥50,000)
Having both provides comprehensive financial protection in the event of an accident.
