熊本駅前のトヨタレンタカーで受け取り、鹿児島空港で返却しました。担当スタッフさんはみなさんとても親切で、スムーズな手続きだったと思います。ひとつ残念なのが、熊本駅前には店舗がふたつあって、本来の店舗はホテルの真向かいだったにもかかわらず、遠い店舗に行ってしまい、引き返すという失態をおかしました。自分自身が残念です(笑)

初日は、雨に向かう曇り空、眺望はあまりきかなかったが、スムースなドライブができた。２日目は生憎の雨、黒川温泉から阿蘇山へ、雨雲の中をドライブ、赤牛、阿蘇馬の歓迎を受けながら草千里へ、阿蘇山上は見えなかったが広大な阿蘇高原の中を極めて快適に走破できて満足であった。
