General English - Conversation Course is the most recommended course at La Lingua and offers many unique methods to help students become fluent English speakers.
The Directional Challenge is the highlight of the program.
Each week there is a specific topic where students are divided into groups and assigned a mission to use the vocabulary they have learned in the activity.

By practicing the English learned during the week, students can expect to learn English naturally.

Programs

• General English - Conversation (Conversation Focused Course)

  Taught exclusively by specially trained instructors, this is one of La Lingua's most popular programs, focusing on conversation, with a completely original La Lingua curriculum.
  Along with the "Directional Challenge", there is a "Visit a Court" topic, which is related to unfamiliar laws and crimes.
  The content includes activities such as an actual visit to a nearby courthouse, hearing a case together with the class and "watch and learn" how the courtroom is used in real life.
  
  Since 80% of the class time is dedicated to student speaking, this course is very suitable for those who want to learn to speak English with a conversational focus.

• General English - 4 Skills (Comprehensive Course)

  Unlike the General English - Conversation Course which emphasizes conversation, this course offers a full range of learning in the four skills of reading, writing, listening and speaking.
  Students will learn the four skills from the basics of vocabulary, grammar and pronunciation based on textbooks, and learn conversational English that is closely related to real-life situations.
  
  Besides the morning schedule starting at 9:30AM, there is also an evening time schedule from 4:30PM to 8:45PM.
  The evening schedule mainly consists of South American and European students, giving the classes a very international atmosphere.

• IELTS Preparation

  This course is designed to prepare students for the IELTS examination, which is often used as an indicator for admission to universities and colleges in the United Kingdom and the United States, as well as vocational schools and TAFEs (Technical and further education) in Australia.
  
  With classes taught by experienced instructors, students can aim to improve their scores in the shortest possible time.
  Weekly practice tests are conducted so that students can familiarize themselves with the test itself and check their current level of proficiency.

• Cambridge English - First Certificate in English (FCE) Proficiency Test Preparation Course

  La Lingua offers preparatory courses for the FCE intermediate and advanced levels, which is widely recognized in the United Kingdom, Australia, Canada and other countries around the world as a test of reading, writing, listening and speaking proficiency.
  This 12-week course with a fixed start date will also allow students to bond with their classmates.
  
  The course also includes three practice tests to enable students to effectively improve their English level and pass the test in a short period of time.

• TECSOL - English for Teaching Children

  TECSOL stands for Teaching English to Child Speakers of Other Languages and is a certification for teaching English to children between the ages of 3 and 12 who are non-native English speakers.
  This certification is also known as a qualification to work as a teacher of English for children all over the world.
  
  Students learn educational theories and child psychology used in teaching English to children, as well as specific teaching techniques such as using picture books and songs that are useful in practice.
  Not only do students learn how to select teaching materials, curriculum and lesson plans, but they also participate in mock lessons with other students in the classroom.
  
  A professional TECSOL instructor will then give students feedback so that they can acquire the knowledge and skills essential for teaching English to children.

• TESOL - English Teacher Preparatory Course

  TESOL stands for Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages and is a certification to teach English to non-native speakers.
  This course is designed to provide students with complete knowledge and skills to deliver effective language classes.
  
  Students will have at least three mock classes that gradually increase in duration from 20 to 40 minutes, after which they will be reviewed by a professional instructor, thus developing English teachers who will be ready to work immediately.
  
  Students will improve their skills and the quality of their lessons through discussions with other students enrolled in the same course. This is a 6-week program with a fixed start date.

• TECSOL & TESOL Package

  This program is a combination of the TECSOL and TESOL certification courses outlined above and is designed to prepare students to become real teachers.
  The first five weeks of the program are dedicated to TECSOL preparation, followed by an optional one-week practicum in a local kindergarten, and the remaining six weeks are dedicated to TESOL preparation.
  
  This program is ideal for those who love children and teaching and want to be able to say with confidence that they have studied abroad.

Area Features

Sydney is undoubtedly the most famous city in Australia packed with tourist attractions such as the Opera House and the Harbor Bridge.
