Students are required to bring their own tablets or laptops when studying at GLC. All course materials, as well as the entrance test, are online, making GLC the first IT-focused institute in the Philippines to adopt such a learning method.

Programs

ESL POWER COURSE

This is a general English course for both beginners and advanced students who are interested in learning English.

The course is divided into three sections: POWER SPEAKING COURSE (6 lessons), INTENSIVE POWER SPEAKING COURSE (7 lessons) and ULTRA 7 POWER SPEAKING (8 lessons), depending on the number of required lessons. Further, the course is structured with a practical, output-oriented curriculum (speaking, pronunciation, quick response, etc.).

As with other courses, 2 free special classes can be taken at the student's discretion.
TOEIC COURSE

The TOEIC INTENSIVE Course, which includes 2 sessions of general English (7 lessons in total) and the TOEIC ULTRA 8 Course, which is recommended for students who want to improve their score and strengthen their weak points by taking all 8 one-to-one lessons.
The TOEIC ULTRA 8 Course is customized for each student according to his/her level and existing score.
IELTS COURSE

This course has the same structure as the TOEIC COURSE above.

The IELTS INTENSIVE COURSE includes 2 sessions of General English (7 lessons in total) and the IELTS ULTRA 8 COURSE is recommended for students who wish to improve their score and strengthen their weak points by taking all 8 one-to-one lessons.
The IELTS ULTRA 8 Course is designed for students who are aiming to improve their performance and score.
EIKEN CEBU COURSE

This course will also have the same structure as the TOEIC COURSE above.

Similarly, this course can be taken for very short periods of study, starting from 1 week and is designed to improve scores through intensive one-to-one study.

The INTENSIVE EIKEN CEBU COURSE is for students who are aiming for EIKEN Level 3 to Level 1 and can also take 2 sessions of General English (7 sessions in total) while the ULTRA 8 EIKEN CEBU COURSE is recommended for students who want to reinforce their weaknesses and improve their level with all 8 sessions being one-to-one lessons.
Customized training is provided according to the student's level and the number of levels he/she holds.
BUSINESS COURSE

This course is ideal for those who are aiming to work for a foreign company or overseas, or for those who need English at their current employment. Students learn correct expressions that are important in business situations, how to communicate their intentions and products, and learn business English to be able to respond flexibly.

The Business English Course includes 2 group sessions (out of 6) of General English and the ULTRA 7 Business English Course is designed for students who have already studied business English to a certain level.

Area Features

GLC is located in Mandaue City, next to Cebu City, in the middle of Mactan Island and Cebu City, just across the bridge.
The resort area of Mactan Island can be reached in about 30 minutes by car. Students will be able to refresh themselves after a hard day of studying with easy island hopping or resort day use.

School-organized tours to Oslob and Bohol Islands are also available.

Access

Conveniently located in the best area of Cebu, the school is only a 10-minute walk to the restaurant district, a 5-minute taxi-ride to Ayala Mall (shopping mall), a 10-minute taxi-ride to IT Park (business district) and a 15-minute taxi-ride to Cebu Westown Lagoon (pool resort).

The nearest medical center is a 10-minute taxi-ride away providing peace of mind in the event of an emergency. A school nurse is stationed at the campus on weekdays and house calls are made weekly.
