1. Intensive Classes of up to 12 Hours per Day

Students can attend classes from 8:00AM to 10:00PM (till 5:00PM on Fridays) and learn English intensively.

With only qualified and native instructors, students are assured of receiving the best English language support.

2. Strict EOP (English-Only Policy)

Students tend to gather together with other students of the same native language in a foreign country but with the EOP in place at Sparta School, students communicate in English even if they are of the same nationality.

English is the only language allowed in the dormitory and in the office from 8:00AM to 4:55PM, with the exception of lunch time.

3. Intensive Learning Environment with Abundant On-Campus Facilities

Each room in the dormitory is equipped with a study desk and chair, shelves, lamp, bed, air conditioning, toilet and Wi-Fi for the comfort of every studen

The school, which resembles an upscale European-style resort facility, has ample facilities, including a swimming pool, basketball court, table tennis room, jogging track, shops and conference rooms.

Programs

• Sparta Course

  This is the basic course at the Sparta campus with 4 one-to-one classes and 4 group classes.
  
  Classes include one hour each of grammar, TOEIC (Test of English for International Communication) listening, IELTS (International English Language Testing System) evening classes and time for vocabulary test/essay time. Students may also choose to do self-study for two hours after class.
  
  Group classes include Public Speaking & Speech Communication and American English Conversation.

• Premier Sparta Course

  This course includes 5 one-to-one classes and 3 group classes, and like the Sparta Course, includes one hour each of grammar, TOEIC listening, IELTS evening classes and vocabulary test/essay time.
  
  Students may also choose to do two hours of self-study after class.
  Group classes include Public Speaking & Speech Communication and American English Conversation.

• TOEIC Course

  This course is divided into levels according to TOEIC scores and includes four one-to-one classes and four group classes that focus on listening, reading, vocabulary, and grammar.
  Like the Sparta Course, it includes one hour each of grammar, TOEIC listening, IELTS evening classes and vocabulary test/essay time.
  
  Students may also choose to do two hours of self-study after class. Group classes include Intensive Approach to The New TOEIC Listening and Tactics for TOEIC Speaking.

• TOEIC Premier Course

  This course is divided into levels according to the TOEIC score, and includes 5 one-to-one classes and 3 group classes where students focus on listening, reading, vocabulary and grammar.
  
  Similar to the Sparta Course, classes include one other hour each of grammar, TOEIC listening, IELTS evening classes and vocabulary test/essay time.
  
  Students may also choose to do self-study for two hours after class.
  
  Group classes include Intensive Approach to The New TOEIC Listening and Tactics for TOEIC Speaking.

• TOEIC Guarantee Course

  This course guarantees a score for each level in the regular TOEIC examination according to the score students have previously obtained (within 6 months) or their score in the entrance examination.
  
  The course is scheduled for 12 weeks with a designated start date each month.
  
  It consists of 4 one-to-one classes covering reading and grammar, 4 group classes for listening and practice tests, one TOEIC-related evening class, one TOEIC vocabulary test and 2 hours of self-study time. The minimum level is a score of 400, in which case the guaranteed score is 600.

• Business English Course

  This is a Business English course for 4 weeks and can be combined with other courses.
  
  The structure is the same as the basic Sparta Course, except that in addition to ESL, students will attend 4 one-on-one classes of Business English and 4 group classes of Global Business English.

• IELTS Basic Course

  This course is designed to prepare students for the IELTS examination.
  
  The structure is the same as the basic Sparta Course, except that in addition to ESL, students will take 4 one-on-one classes and 4 group classes specialized for IELTS, with a practice test every 2 weeks.

• IELTS Guarantee Course

  This is a 12-week course with a guaranteed score in the official exam taken during the course, based on the IELTS score taken in your home country prior to enrollment in this course.
  This course includes 4 one-to-one classes focusing on speaking, writing, reading and grammar, 4 group classes for listening and IELTS preparation tests.
  
  IELTS preparation is also included in the evening classes and during vocabulary time.
  Two hours of self-study after class is also mandatory.
  
  The course includes practice tests every week.

• IELTS Intensive Course

  This course differs from the IELTS Guarantee Course and students can enroll in this course without having taken any prior IELTS examination.
  
  While there is no score guarantee or self-study requirement, the structure is almost identical and a target score is set for each student.
  This is a flexible IELTS course and is available to students who wish to take the course for less than 12 weeks.

Area Features

On weekends, students can enjoy shopping at SM Mall, which mainly caters to the middle class, and Ayala Mall, which mainly caters to the middle to upper class, as well as the nightlife at IT Park.

While it may take a little longer to travel, swimming with whale sharks on an Oslob Tour organized by the school or relaxing on one of the beautiful beaches in Cebu on an Island Hopping Tour are also available!
