Voice of Travelers to Trat

Relaxing beach holiday in Trat

My husband and I needed a quiet trip, so we chose the charming and discrete Trat town. Though a small town, there is so much that one can do. We traveled from Bangkok to Trat with Bangkok Airways. That was our first time flying with Bangkok Airways. Each of us traveled on an economy class ticket yet the service was impeccable. We were served snacks while waiting for the flight and the cabin service was excellent. We first visited the famous and well maintained Wat Buppharam temple. We then proceeded to Haad Sai Ngam, a lovely calm white sandy beach. For those who love an unruffled holiday then Trat is the perfect place.

Family day trip to Trat

My family wanted some time away but were on a budget. So we chose to go to Trat. We used Bangkok Airways. Their services were remarkable. We were given a family travel package and were even allowed to choose our seats during ticket reservation. We first headed to Trat History Museum, a small museum in the Old Town Hall. The museum had history and exhibits of Trat from back when it was established by the Chinese traders. We then proceeded to Mu Ko Chang to National Park, a marine park. It was a quiet place, but the allure and atmosphere of Trat and its people was definitely worth it.
