Tallinn Old Town is the city center of the medieval capital of Estonia. 2. Lennusadam Seaplane Harbour (Tallinn)

Located in Tallinn's port area, the Seaplane Harbour is now a popular museum linked to the Estonian Maritime Museum. Once used as a aircraft hangar as part of Peter the Great's Naval Fortress, the building was put out of service in the Soviet era and later turned into a museum. It's easily one of the most beautiful structures in the region, with its lavish outside decoration and beautiful black dome-shaped spires. Head inside and you'll find even more splendor with intricate depictions of saints, mosaics and heavy use of gold decoration.

Oleviste Church was built in the 12th century in Estonia and is one of the biggest medieval structures in the city. While not quite as grand as the Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, the church's beautiful but somewhat simple appearance makes it easily stand out in the old town. As you go inside you'll also notice a staircase that takes you up to higher levels with stunning scenery of the surrounding city.

This gorgeous open air museum showcases the art and culture of traditional Estonia with its life-sized construction of a 18th century fishing village. With 72 different traditional buildings along with staff displaying how people lived during these times, it's the perfect spot to get a feel for the traditional rural life there. It's also located a short drive from the capital of Tallinn, great for those who want to see the countryside without traveling too far.
