Yokohama City Honmoku Citizens’ Pool is an outdoor pool facility that reopened in July 2023 after renovations. You can enjoy it during the day as well as at the night pool. 1.【Honmoku Citizens’ Pool】Advance tickets go on sale from Sunday, July 7, 2024!
Yokohama City Honmoku Citizens’ Pool will be open from Saturday, July 13, 2024, to Sunday, September 1, 2024.
Advance tickets go on sale starting Sunday, July 7, 2024, at 10:00! Admission tickets for both the Day Pool and the Night Pool can be purchased at Seven-Eleven and FamilyMart nationwide. Please note that tickets cannot be refunded after purchase.
Although the advance ticket prices are the same as same-day tickets, they are convenient since you can simply scan them at the entrance gate without any exchanges. During summer vacation, long lines at the ticket counter are expected, and you may have to wait in the heat. Advance tickets are recommended for smooth entry.

2.【Honmoku Citizens’ Pool】Day Pool / Night Pool Fees and Hours
*For the Day Pool, one guardian is required for every two children in grade 3 or below.
*Day Pool: free for children under 3.
*For the Night Pool, one guardian is required for every two elementary school students.
*Preschool children cannot enter the Night Pool.
The fees differ for the Day Pool (9:00–17:30) and Night Pool (18:00–21:00).
You can use the lazy river, water slide, air attraction pool, and kids’ pool. However, the Air Mountain Slider requires an additional 1,000 yen and is only available for those 120 cm or taller.
Changing room coin lockers cost 100 yen per use (deposit system: insert 200 yen, receive 100 yen back upon leaving).
*Operations may be suspended due to weather, and ticket refunds are not available.
*Final exit from the water is 30 minutes before the end time.
*Complete changeover system.
The Day Pool is open every day, but the Night Pool is only open on weekends, holidays, and from Tuesday, July 16 to Friday, August 16.
A paid rest space, “Executive Rest” (limited to 20 seats), is also available: Day Pool – 3,000 yen/day, Night Pool – 2,000 yen/day.
These spaces include a table, chairs, and parasol, allowing for a more relaxed experience.
3.【Honmoku Citizens’ Pool】Parking Lot Congestion Times

Honmoku Citizens’ Pool has its own dedicated parking lot with 165 spaces.
On weekends, holidays, and during Obon, the lot may fill up before 9:00 or before 18:00. Even on weekdays, it can fill up in the morning, so please check the latest parking information on the official account of Yokohama City Honmoku Citizens’ Pool.

4.【Honmoku Citizens’ Pool】Shops, restaurants, and food trucks
At Honmoku Citizens’ Pool you’ll find shops selling drinks, shaved ice, soft serve, alcoholic beverages, and pool goods such as swimsuits, goggles, and float rings.
Meals can be enjoyed on the open-air terrace, including curry, taco rice, yakisoba, and ramen.
Additionally, food trucks appear offering kebabs, yakisoba, French fries, and more! Enjoy a variety of dishes that change daily.

5.【Honmoku Citizens’ Pool】BBQ menu and fees
Within the grounds of Honmoku Citizens’ Pool is a BBQ area where you can enjoy American-style barbecue without bringing anything. Eating BBQ by the poolside is exceptional!
Equipment, ingredients, and site fees are included in the set, so it’s easy to use.

Ingredients vary by course, but equipment includes a BBQ grill, tent, chairs, tables, workbench, cooking tools, plates, chopsticks, and hand wipes.
Soft drinks such as Coca-Cola, ginger ale, and oolong tea, as well as alcoholic beverages such as draft beer, sours, and highballs are also sold.
Drinks do not require a reservation and can be ordered on the day.

For access to “Honmoku Citizens’ Pool” by train or bus, take a bus from JR Yokohama Station or JR Negishi Station. From JR Yokohama Station it takes about 45 minutes by bus, from JR Negishi Station about 8 minutes by bus.
From JR Yokohama Station to JR Negishi Station, it takes about 12 minutes on the JR Keihin-Tohoku Line.
