2. Osaka to Busan: Comparing Ferry vs. Flight Costs
When traveling from Osaka (Kansai International Airport – KIX) to Busan (Gimhae International Airport – PUS) by plane, ticket prices vary depending on the time of booking. Airlines like Jeju Air, Air Busan, and Jin Air typically offer fares ranging from ¥40,000 to ¥60,000. However, prices can increase significantly during peak seasons.
If you're looking for a more budget-friendly option, consider taking the ferry. During promotional periods, round-trip fares can be as low as ¥25,000 to ¥35,000, making it a cost-effective choice. By saving on transportation, you can allocate more budget for accommodation, food, and sightseeing in Busan.
Even at standard rates, ferry tickets can sometimes be cheaper than flights, so it's worth checking the latest deals before booking your trip!
