In May, cherries are harvested, and from around July onward, peaches, grapes, plums, kiwifruits, and persimmons start to ripen. In Minami-Alps City, you can enjoy freshly picked, delicious fruits all year round. It is rare in Japan to be able to taste fruits over such a wide range of varieties and for such an extended period.

Renovated and reopened in June 2009, the museum exhibits Jomon pottery and stone tools excavated from Minami-Alps City, letting visitors feel the ancient history and atmosphere of the Jomon period. In addition, you can experience making clay doll faces, pattern cards from Jomon pottery, and even a fire-starting demonstration.
