Voice of Travelers to Dresden
A Romantic Weekend in Dresden
Dresden has always been a great option for getting out of the country to buy a ticket for somewhere interesting and beautiful where the tickets prices are not too high. I bought a pair of tickets for my girlfriend and myself with Swiss International Airlines so that we could have a romantic getaway together in Dresden. Our flight into Dresden on tickets with Swiss International Airlines was so easy and comfortable that we both slept through most of the flight. We got a hotel room in beautiful downtown Dresden and spent most of our time in Dresden in the city center just looking at the sites and eating at the excellent restaurants, though we did buy one pair of bus tour tickets, which was very well done.
Dresden Is the Cultural Capital of Germany
I have always said that Dresden is the most important cultural location in all of Germany. Dresden has so many important landmarks and buildings from Germany's long history that it is impossible to see them all on just one ticket. This trip to Dresden with my wife's family was my third ticket, and I still have not seen everything that Dresden has to offer. My wife's family bought our tickets with Lufthansa for us, which was a nice present. The flight into Dresden went fine, and the staff made sure that the whole family got off safe and together since there were a lot of us. My wife and her family bought bus tour tickets to go around the different sites, but I knew exactly which sites I wanted to see, and I bought my own tickets to the museums that I had not visited yet.
My Trip to the World Famous Dresden Horse Races
I have loved horses my entire life, but the world of horse racing is becoming less and less popular. Fortunately Dresden is a still a world class location for seeing horses from all over the world race. I bought myself and my son tickets with KLM to Dresden just in time for one of the biggest horse races of the year. People from all over the world had bought tickets to fly to Dresden to see this race. The airports to and from Dresden were very busy, but the helpful KLM staff made sure that we were sorted quickly. I bought my son and myself tickets for the horse races, and we spent the whole weekend at the track. We also took a quick bus tour on some cheap tickets that I found online.
