The Cleveland Museum of Art is an art museum located in Cleveland, Ohio. It is renowned internationally for its rich display of Egyptian and Asian art, as well as a distinct collection of more than 45,000 works of art from all over the world. The museum is the fourth wealthiest art museum the United States with a $755 million endowment. 2. West Side Market

The West Side Market is the oldest market space located in Cleveland, Ohio. It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The market started operating in 1840, but it was not until 1912 when the building was established with Hubbell and Benes as the primary architects. Sightseeing tourists are attracted to visit the market because they get to learn more about the history of Cleveland. Guided tours are also offered. Many of the stalls that are present in the market remained under individual family control.

The USS Cod Submarine Memorial is another sightseeing destination in Cleveland which commemorates the USS Cod, a Gati-class submarine that is named after the world's most significant food fish of the Northern Atlantic and Pacific. The James A. Garfield Monument is a memorial built in memory of James A. Garfield, the 20th president of the United States who was assassinated in 1881. George Keller designed the tomb. He utilized locally found sandstones, with reliefs depicting different scenes from the life of the late president. Caspar Buberl designed the exterior sculptures. The casket of the president and Lucretia Garfield lie in a crypt that could be found beneath the memorial. 7. Cleveland Botanical Garden

Located in the University Circle of Cleveland, Ohio, the Cleveland Botanical Garden was established in 1930 as the Garden Center of Greater Cleveland. The botanical garden is home to a variety of collections, including the Hershey Children's Garden which is the first children's garden in Ohio, the Japanese Garden, the Elizabeth and Nona Evans Restorative Garden, and the David and Paula Swetland Topiary Garden. Sightseeing tourists could also visit two separate biomes which feature over 400 species of plants and animals.

8. Cleveland Museum of Natural History

The Cleveland Museum of Natural History is natural history museum that is located in the University Circle in Cleveland. It is the home of education, medical and cultural institutions. The museum displays a variety of exhibits including more than four million specimens which are related to zoology, archaeology, paleontology, and other scientific subjects. It has a full-scale model of a Stegosaurus which sightseeing tourists could marvel at. There are other interesting sightseeing attractions on this destination including an extensive collection of fossils and skeletons, among others.

9. Soldiers' and Sailors' Monument

The Soldiers' and Sailors' Monument is a memorial which was built as a tribute to the solder during the Civil War and the sailors from the Cuyahoga. It was designed by architect Levi Scofield and was opened on July 4, 1894. Most often than not, the monument is open for public viewing without being charged with any amounts. The Great Lakes Science Center is an educational facility which is located in downtown Cleveland. Aside from permanent and traveling exhibits, the museum also houses a cafe, and meeting space, and most of all an IMAX Dome Theater. There are a lot of other amenities which sightseeing tourists could avail of including the NASA Glenn Visitor Center and the Cleveland Water Alliance.
