1. Shichirigahama Beach
The Shichirigahama Beach is the most Instagrammable tourist spot in Shichirigahama. Facing Sagami Bay, it offers stunning views of Enoshima Island and even Mount Fuji. The sunset view is particularly spectacular, as you can capture the sun setting over Enoshima Island, creating a picturesque scene with the ocean and the island.
The beach stretches for approximately 3 kilometers, providing ample space to take photos. However, be aware that the sand can make walking a bit difficult. If you plan on taking lots of pictures on the beach, it's recommended to wear shoes that prevent sand from getting in. Please note that swimming is prohibited at Shichirigahama Beach. If you're looking to swim during the summer, the nearby Yuigahama Beach is a popular spot for swimming and enjoying the water.

On weekends, a popular flea market is held at the Shichirigahama Beach parking lot. You'll find a variety of food stalls, cute Shonan-style goods, and affordable clothing!

Along National Route 134, which runs parallel to Shichirigahama Beach, you can enjoy shopping at various cafes, restaurants, and general stores. The Shichirigahama Beach parking lot is available for parking.
2. Slam Dunk Railroad Crossing
As you walk along National Route 134 from Shichirigahama towards Enoshima, you'll come across a railroad crossing made famous by the popular anime "Slam Dunk."
This is the spot where the protagonist, Hanamichi Sakuragi, is seen waiting for the Enoden train to pass with his bag on his shoulder in the opening scene. The view of the Enoden train and the ocean of Shichirigahama from the crossing evokes a sense of youth and nostalgia. It's a photogenic spot that's perfect for Instagram.
The crossing is located about 100 meters from Kamakura Kokomae Station on the Enoshima Electric Railway line, towards Shichirigahama.
3. Inamuragasaki
Inamuragasaki is located between Shichirigahama and Yuigahama beaches. Inamuragasaki's sandy beach is famous for being the setting of the 1990 movie "Inamura Jane".
It's a popular spot for young people and surfers, and because it's close to National Route 134, it's easy to visit while on a drive. On a clear day, you can get a beautiful view of Enoshima and Mount Fuji from Inamuragasaki, which is highly recommended.

4. Enoshima
Enoshima is a popular tourist spot located about 10 minutes by the Enoshima Electric Railway from Shichirigahama. It's a small island with a circumference of about 4 km and an elevation of about 60m but it offers plenty to see and do, including Enoshima Shrine and Benten Nakamise-dori Street where you can buy gourmet souvenirs, making it perfect for a day trip.
At Benten Nakamise-dori Street, located at the entrance to Enoshima, you can find various shops selling croquettes, bread, and soft serve ice cream made with the local specialty, shirasu (whitebait), making it a great place to enjoy eating while strolling. Even just seeing the lively street is enjoyable.
At the top of the island, you'll find the tropical-themed Enoshima Samuel Cocking Garden and the Enoshima Sea Candle observation tower, making it an ideal spot for a date.
