Afternoon Tea in Tsim Sha Tsui! Introducing Recommended Hidden Spots
1. The Lobby (The Peninsula Hong Kong)
Many luxury hotels in Tsim Sha Tsui serve afternoon tea, but The Peninsula is considered one of the very best in terms of both price and prestige. The breathtaking view of Victoria Harbour and Hong Kong Island looks like something straight out of a postcard.
The grandeur of The Peninsula’s famous lobby is truly awe-inspiring. To achieve its luxurious stucco finish, a team of master craftsmen was invited from Europe. It’s easy to see why it’s often called “the most elegant meeting place in Tsim Sha Tsui.”
2. The Parlour (Heritage 1881)
Heritage 1881 is a shopping mall that opened in November 2009 and quickly became a new landmark in Tsim Sha Tsui. It was converted from the former Marine Police Headquarters, and in the back of the mall, some buildings preserving the original atmosphere remain and have been reopened as “Hullet House.” The café inside Hullet House is The Parlour. The terrace seating is highly recommended—sipping afternoon tea while soaking in the historical charm of old Tsim Sha Tsui is a truly special experience.
It’s more affordable than high-end hotels, and if you’re lucky, you might even get the place all to yourself for a leisurely time. The Parlour also serves breakfast, offering not only the Hullet House special but also American, Continental, and Chinese options.

3. Sabatini Ristorante Italiano (Tsim Sha Tsui)
The world-famous Italian restaurant Sabatini, has a location in Tsim Sha Tsui. When it opened in 1992, it sparked an Italian cuisine boom in Hong Kong. While its lunch and dinner menus already offer better value compared to the Tokyo branch, its lesser-known afternoon tea is a hidden gem. Available only on weekends and public holidays from 3:15 PM to 5:30 PM, it features enticing sets such as the “Roman Holiday” tea set.
