Tomesode geigi wear their hair in a Nakajimada style, with subtle water-based white makeup (without eyebrow enhancements). Their obi (sash) is tied in the Otaiko style, and for formal occasions, the lower part of the obi is left untied in a Yanagi (willow) knot. Their kimono features long sleeves and an extended hem, which trails elegantly. Furisode geigi, on the other hand, wear youthful hairstyles such as Momoware and wear furisode (long-sleeved kimono). Their obi is tied in a distinct Yanonoji style, different from the senior geigi.
