Shopping in Saitama Shintoshin ♪ Introducing the Highlights of Cocoon City
Cocoon 1
Cocoon 1 houses retail stores and restaurants, as well as a movie theater and a food court. There are an East Wing, a West Wing, and a North Wing, so be careful when looking for shops.
▼ The main shops in the East Wing are as follows:

▼ The main shops in the West Wing are as follows:

*In addition to “Bøhnerlund Asobi no Sekai,” which handles imported toys, there are also a craft supplies store “Craft Heart Tokai” and a beads & accessory specialty store “PARTS CLUB,” making it a family-friendly shopping atmosphere. “Bøhnerlund Asobi no Sekai” also has an indoor play area, so it’s recommended for a parent-child outing.
Cocoon 3
Cocoon 3 consists of a large electronics retail store, Yodobashi Camera, on the basement first floor through the second floor. The third floor houses the large sports specialty store SUPER SPORTS XEBIO. SUPER SPORTS XEBIO also includes VictoriaGolf, which offers a wide range of golf equipment, and L-Breath, which has an extensive selection of trekking equipment.
At VictoriaGolf, you can try out golf clubs, and at L-Breath, you can experience the fit of trekking shoes.
MOVIX Saitama
On the second floor of Cocoon 1 is the cinema complex “MOVIX Saitama.” As one of the largest state-of-the-art cinemas in Saitama Prefecture, its “DOLBY CINEMA” is equipped with the latest imaging technology Dolby Vision® and the 3D surround sound technology Dolby Atmos®, allowing you to enjoy movies with superb realism. There are a total of 12 theaters. The largest, Theater 12, has approximately 500 seats. There are many cafes and restaurants in Cocoon City. Here are some noteworthy spots:
FORTUNER tea-box Saitama-Shintoshin Branch
Located on the first floor of Cocoon 2, FORTUNER tea-box is popular for its cheese tea made with plenty of high-quality tea leaves. You can customize your cheese tea with tapioca toppings and adjust the sweetness to your liking.
MELLOW BROWN COFFEE
Located on the second floor of Cocoon 2, MELLOW BROWN COFFEE is a cafe known for its cozy atmosphere. You can enjoy their innovative “waffle pancake” dessert and carefully crafted coffee.
Recommended Lunch Spots
Seafood Dining Room Uomori
If you crave fresh seafood, “Seafood Dining Room Uomori” on the second floor of the East Wing in Cocoon 1 is recommended. The restaurant features live fish tanks, so you can savor freshly caught seafood in plenty. They offer set meals and rice bowls.
KUA'AINA
If you want a hearty lunch, try “KUA'AINA.” Enjoy a voluminous hamburger in a Hawaiian-style atmosphere. It is located on the second floor of the North Wing in Cocoon 1.
Access and Parking Information
Cocoon City is located just steps away from the East Exit of Saitama-Shintoshin Station. If you are using the JR Saikyo Line, it is an 8-minute walk from Kita-Yono Station. For those accessing by car, please follow the directions below:
【When Accessing from National Route 17】
Proceed straight along Tōzai Ōdōri via the Shintoshin Underground Passage.
【When Accessing from an Industrial Road】
Take a side road off Tōzai Ōdōri and turn right onto the old Nakasendo. Turn at the T-shaped intersection at the Hokosugi Bridge, then turn right at the next traffic light.
【When Accessing from the Old Nakasendo】
Turn at the T-shaped intersection at the Hokosugi Bridge, then turn right at the next traffic light.
There are four parking lots in the vicinity, including the rooftop parking lot of Cocoon 2. Depending on your purchase amount, you may receive a discount on the parking fee, so be sure to bring your parking ticket.
