Thorough introduction to all 7 recommended survival game fields in Kanagawa Prefecture!
Basic Information on Sabage Fields in Kanagawa
Compared to Chiba, Saitama, and Tokyo, the number of sabage fields in Kanagawa Prefecture is not very large. In fact, many of the existing fields only began opening in recent years (as of February 2021). There was even a time when there were no sabage fields at all, and from a national perspective, many of the fields here are relatively new. However, in terms of game quality, they are in no way inferior to those in other prefectures!
One of the characteristics of Kanagawa sabage is that the urban areas near Yokohama tend to have indoor fields, while the mountainous western areas like the Tanzawa Mountains are home to more outdoor fields. Game styles also tend to vary from east to west. That said, each field is designed to cater to both beginners and advanced players. For example, even outdoor fields are well-equipped with facilities like restrooms, shops, and changing rooms. These are all fields where even beginners and women—who may feel more anxious—can enjoy the game with peace of mind.
1. Shonan Toska Field

The first field introduced is "Shonan Toska Field," an urban-style outdoor survival game field located in the western part of Kanagawa Prefecture. Though it is classified as an outdoor field, it is not a forest-type area, but rather a flat space composed of barricades, panels, vehicles, small rooms built with boards, and narrow passageways. The field itself isn’t vast, allowing players to enjoy a balanced engagement distance—not as close as indoor fields and not as far as forest-type ones.
The starting points for both teams are divided into valley side and mountain side, with a slight elevation difference. A key feature of the games here is that players proceed through two courses—the CQB (Close Quarters Battle) area and the trench area—with the central tower, where field staff are stationed, as the midpoint. The CQB area allows for close combat similar to indoor fighting, while the trench area offers long-range ambushes. The drastically different playstyles in each path are a major draw.
Uniquely, this field keeps a Golden Retriever on-site, who has become the field's mascot. It's a great place for dog-loving gamers too.
Facilities at Shonan Toska Field
At Shonan Toska Field, consumables are available for purchase at the reception. Items like gas, BB bullets, and anti-fog spray can be bought on the spot. They also sell original merchandise such as T-shirts, so if something catches your eye, it could be a nice souvenir.
Rental guns are also available, and different types of airsoft guns are on standby. Even if you don’t own a gun, you can rent one—just be sure to check during reservation.
There are changing rooms for both men and women, and the modified truck toilets even come with bidets. It's impressively clean for an outdoor facility. There’s also a slightly cheaper vending machine on-site, and a nearby convenience store, so hydration shouldn't be a problem.

2. Kowloon Battlefield
Next is the indoor field Kowloon Battlefield, located in Sagamihara City. Kowloon is the oldest survival game field currently in operation in Kanagawa Prefecture. It has even been featured in movies and manga, earning it national recognition and making it one of the most popular fields in the prefecture.
What makes Kowloon so iconic is its overwhelming setting, modeled after the now-demolished Kowloon Walled City that once existed in Hong Kong. It feels like stepping into a movie set. The combination of darkness and eerie neon lights evokes a sci-fi dystopian city. Although it’s an indoor field, it spans three floors, allowing for vertical combat with the possibility of attacks from the second and third floors. You might even hear static from broken radios—the field is full of intriguing touches.
Facilities at Kowloon Battlefield
As an indoor field, of course, it comes fully equipped with clean restrooms and changing rooms. Several vending machines are available as well, so there’s no need to worry about drinks.
One area of the safety zone at Kowloon is used as a shop, and the selection is as complete as a full-fledged survival game store! Airsoft guns, consumables, magazines, accessories, and a wide variety of gear are sold. Even if it’s your first time and you come empty-handed, you’ll be able to gear up with more than just the basics. It’s worth browsing between games.
Naturally, rental gear is also available for beginners, so you can join the game without bringing anything.

3. Wooper Shin-Yokohama
*Closed as of April 10
Wooper Shin-Yokohama was an indoor survival game field located in Tsurumi Ward, Yokohama City. There was a survival game shop with the same name in Shin-Yokohama, and this field was opened by that shop. Please note that the shop and field had different locations.
Wooper was a two-story survival game field, allowing for vertical combat. Since the layouts and barricades of the first and second floors differed, knowing how to navigate both levels strategically was key to conquering the field. Being an indoor field, engagement distances were short, and it was rare for a game to end without encountering any opponents—or even allies. Because long shooting range wasn't necessary, the outcome wasn’t solely dependent on airsoft gun performance—another advantage of indoor play. There's no dirt either, so it's a relatively beginner-friendly game environment.
Facilities at Wooper Shin-Yokohama
Fully maintained rental gear was available for players without their own equipment. Be sure to confirm what and how many items are needed when reserving. Rental sets were also offered and recommended.
Restrooms and changing rooms were properly maintained and, as an indoor facility, very clean—safe and pleasant to use.
Perhaps the biggest appeal of Wooper Shin-Yokohama was its 40-meter shooting range despite being indoors. Since there was no wind inside, players could zero in or adjust their hop-up settings without environmental interference. A shop was also located within the facility, allowing you to purchase items if you forgot anything or needed extras. With a large shopping mall and convenience stores nearby, it offered a highly convenient environment for gameplay.

4. ATTACKER
Next is ATTACKER, another indoor field located in Yokohama City. Unlike the previously introduced Kowloon and Wooper, ATTACKER consists only of a single floor. However, it is divided into five distinct zones—A, B, C, D, and E—each with completely different layouts, making the indoor space feel larger than it actually is.
The fun lies in changing tactics as you move through each zone, and the thrill of entering an area where the enemy may be waiting is unmatched. With multiple progression routes available, coordination with teammates is key to clearing the zones. Lighting grows dimmer the deeper you go, offering a tense, uniquely indoor battlefield experience.
Also, being an indoor field, the outcome is not determined by the performance of your airsoft gun. Even beginners can thrive by learning how to move strategically. Some games, restricted to handguns loaned out by the field, are very popular and eliminate performance differences altogether, allowing both advanced and new players to enjoy the game equally. It’s not uncommon for players to choose ATTACKER as their first indoor field experience.
ATTACKER also regularly hosts special 10+ age games that are safe for players under 18. These are rare within the prefecture, so it's worth checking out.
Facilities at ATTACKER
Being an indoor field, restrooms and changing rooms are fully equipped and spacious. ATTACKER also features a shop next to the safety zone, where consumables like BB bullets are sold at significantly reduced prices. These prices are intentionally set low to encourage use not just at ATTACKER but also at other fields. They also sell airsoft guns, optional parts, and upgrade parts. If something catches your eye, feel free to add it to your gear.
Additionally, beginner rental sets are well-prepared. Vending machines are also available, so there’s no need to worry if you forget to bring a drink.
Access to ATTACKER

ATTACKER is located in Tsuzuki Ward, Yokohama City. The nearest bus-accessible station is Tsunashima Station, while the nearest walking-accessible stations are either Higashiyamata Station on the Subway Green Line or Nakamachidai Station on the Blue Line. If you arrive by train or bus, the final approach requires walking, during which you will come across a sign reading “No Trespassing – Private Property.” However, proceed up the stairs where this sign is posted. For route photos and further details, please refer to the official website.
When arriving by car, note that the road in front of the field is narrow. Depending on the size of your vehicle, you may not be able to enter the parking lot and may have to park on the roadside. Staff may instruct you to move your vehicle, so please be cautious.
The following is quoted from the ATTACKER website:

5. Minna no Mori
Next is “Minna no Mori,” an outdoor forest field located deep in Atsugi City in central Kanagawa Prefecture. It boasts a massive total area of 46,000㎡—about the size of the Tokyo Dome!
The field is mostly untouched nature, where players can enjoy gameplay utilizing massive bushes and natural elevation differences. Artificial structures like barricades are kept to a minimum. How you use the few man-made objects is key... with the entire field available for hiding, both attackers and defenders can fully exercise their creativity.
The main strategic points for breaking into enemy territory are tunnels and bridges. How to navigate these can be a real challenge... but the progression routes are virtually endless. Due to its vastness, less experienced players may find that they rarely encounter enemies, and sometimes may not even spot one the entire game. That can be a downside. However, the high degree of freedom allows players to try out their own tactics and routes, making it an exciting experience. While not beginner-friendly, it’s definitely worth trying for seasoned sabage gamers.
Facilities at Minna no Mori
The parking lot is very spacious and rarely fills up even when crowded. Being an outdoor field, it also offers several shooting ranges, allowing players to fully prepare before gameplay.
There is a sales counter at reception where essential consumables can be purchased. Quantities are limited, so it's best not to rely solely on this, but it’s a reliable backup if you run out of supplies. They also offer original merchandise, so be sure to take a look. Separate portable toilets and changing rooms for men and women are available, and despite being an outdoor setting, the facilities are well-equipped. Even those who feel uneasy about outdoor environments can use them with peace of mind.

6. Garden Z
Next is Garden Z, an outdoor field located in Zushi City in southeastern Kanagawa Prefecture.
The field is quite expansive and features two types of terrain: mountainous and flat areas. The mountainous zone is nearly untouched forest with minimal artificial structures. You’ll be progressing through a natural woodland setting, hiding from enemies or launching ambushes with total freedom in tactics. Climbing through mountain terrain requires stamina, but it’s highly immersive and offers a unique escape from daily life.
The flat area focuses more on man-made structures and allows for relatively close-range combat. The layout is more vertical in nature, so you’ll need to stay alert for ambushes from the mountains as you try to gain control of the area.
Facilities at Garden Z
Despite being a forest outdoor field, Garden Z is well-stocked with rental equipment. Camo clothing, gloves, and other gear can be rented as a set with prior reservation, so even those without any equipment can participate confidently. The parking lot accommodates around 30 vehicles, offering a decent amount of space, though caution is advised during crowded times.

7. AREA41
AREA41 is a new field that opened in July 2021. It is an indoor field operated by the popular survival game and military goods shop "41px," which has locations in Akihabara and Machida.
It is located on the 3rd floor inside the large shopping mall "Kohoku Minamo" in Tsuzuki Ward, Yokohama City. It sits between Center-Minami and Center-Kita stations on the Yokohama Municipal Subway, making it extremely accessible after getting off at either station. Despite heavy road traffic, there is a parking area available, so arriving by car is also an option. Because Kohoku Minamo is just a typical large shopping mall, the sudden appearance of AREA41 might come as a surprise.
The interior of the field heavily incorporates the know-how of veteran indoor sabage players. The overall theme is dark, with a black-based color scheme, offering a tense and immersive game atmosphere. The field includes many movable structures, allowing the layout to be easily changed. Feedback from users is actively reflected, and the setup is constantly evolving.
Facilities of the Field
Uniquely for a sabage field, participants can enjoy a free drink bar. The air conditioning system is well-maintained, meaning players can enjoy the game regardless of the season or weather without suffering from summer heat. Rental equipment is also abundant, making it beginner-friendly, and the facility even includes a tactical training room.
Inside, there is also a branch store of 41px. Think of it as an attached retail shop offering consumables and essentials. If there’s anything you suddenly need during the game—this store has you covered, allowing you to immediately put items into use.
After enjoying the game, the rest of the shopping mall offers more to explore. On the same floor, there is even a public bath, letting you wash off sweat and relax before heading home—a luxurious experience. With restaurants and fast-food chains nearby, it’s a field full of secondary pleasures beyond the game itself.
Additionally, AREA41 has its own field app. You can make game reservations directly through it. For smoother participation, be sure to download the app in advance.
