2. The view of Mt. Fuji from Kawaguchiko Ohashi is breathtaking!

From Kawaguchiko Ohashi, which was selected as one of the “100 Roads of Japan,” you can admire Mt. Fuji up close.

In front of Mt. Fuji lies the poplar-lined Oike Park, which is especially beautiful in summer with fresh greenery and in autumn with colorful leaves. The seasonal views are stunning. Particularly recommended is photographing Mt. Fuji from the Kawaguchiko Ohashi side near Ubuyagasaki.

When the lake is calm, you can also capture the famous “upside-down Mt. Fuji” reflection from the paths around Ubuyagasaki.

Sidewalks are built on both sides of the roadway, making it ideal for walking or cycling. There are rental bicycle shops around Kawaguchiko Station and Kawaguchiko Ohashi, so cycling is an easy option.

A full lap around Lake Kawaguchiko is about 20 km. By bicycle, it takes around 2 hours.

Food stalls line the lakeshore from Oike Park to Komagari Tunnel, selling takoyaki, yakisoba, and even local specialties like gohei-mochi, along with beer. Visitors can enjoy the fireworks while strolling and snacking.
