What is Sesoko Beach?

Sesoko Beach is an 800-meter-long beach located on the northwest side of Sesoko Island. Here, you can enjoy the beautiful East China Sea. Marine activities at Sesoko Beach are especially recommended for snorkeling! Thanks to its high water clarity, you can observe fish up close. The clear colors of the sea and sandy shore resemble paradise, making it perfect for social media photos.

By Car
About 90 minutes by car from Naha Airport. Take the Okinawa Expressway to Kyoda IC, then head toward the Churaumi Aquarium to reach Sesoko Beach.
By Bus
About 40 minutes by bus from Nago Bus Terminal.
Things to Do at Sesoko Beach

You can swim at Sesoko Beach from mid-April to October 31. There are plenty of rental items such as parasols and chairs, essential for relaxing at the beach for long periods. Food and drinks can also be purchased at the beach house, so there’s no need to worry about meals. Lockers, showers, and flush toilets are available as well.
Most notably, Sesoko Beach is packed with marine sports! Options include banana boats, snorkeling, parasailing, jet skis, U-boats, big marbles, and more—you’ll have a hard time choosing which to try.
Safe and Secure Sesoko Beach!

Sesoko Beach is also perfect for family trips with children. During low tide, the sea becomes very shallow, making it safe for small children to swim. In summer, jellyfish prevention nets are installed, so you can swim safely. Lifeguards and safety staff are always present, and there’s also a first aid station for peace of mind in case of injury.
