Smooth Skin with Seawater Hot Springs! 4 Recommended Jjimjilbangs Near Busan Station

In Japan, it would be like a super sento or health land—a jjimjilbang is a favorite relaxation spot for Koreans. Besides baths and saunas, jjimjilbangs also have dining areas, nap rooms, and more.
Busan’s jjimjilbangs vary widely: some offer beautiful views of the sea, some feature seawater hot springs thanks to their proximity to the ocean, and others even include fitness rooms.
This time, we’ll introduce jjimjilbangs along Subway Line 1, near Busan Station, Nampo-dong, and Seomyeon—convenient for sightseeing and ferry access.

Smooth Skin with Seawater Hot Springs! 4 Recommended Jjimjilbangs Near Busan Station

1. Songdo Haesopia

Located near Jagalchi Station, which is also famous for Jagalchi Market, Songdo Haesopia offers a jjimjilbang with a view of the sea, plus public baths and seawater baths.
Inside, the reception is on the 2nd floor, the men’s bath on the 3rd floor, the women’s bath on the 4th floor, jjimjilbang on the 5th floor, and massage rooms on the 6th floor. The women’s dressing area also has a massage/esthetic corner and a space for mugwort steaming.
From this jjimjilbang, you can see Yeongdo and the sea, giving it a very open feel. A highlight here is the salt sauna—lie down, put salt on your stomach, and you’ll sweat profusely from your whole body!
There are also snack shops and a cafeteria for when you get hungry. Payment is done with your locker key and settled at the end, so you don’t need to carry money around.

2. Sintonbangtong Jjimjilbang

This jjimjilbang is located in Seomyeon, the busiest shopping district in Busan with Lotte Mart and department stores, six stops from Busan Station on Subway Line 1.
It is on the 8th floor of the GOLDEN VIEW building. After taking the elevator, the reception desk is right there. Pay the jjimjilbang fee at reception, and if you want a body scrub, you pay the staff inside the changing room or directly when receiving the scrub.
There are relaxing hot and cold cypress baths. Free amenities include hair dryers, lotion, and emulsion.
It’s very convenient to drop by after shopping.

3. Busan Haes Land

Four stops from Busan Station on Subway Line 1, near Beomil Station, which is close to Busan Free Market, Gold Theme Street, and the area made famous by the movie Friend. This jjimjilbang is part of the Lamer Hotel.
“Busan Haes Land” translates as “Busan Seawater Hot Spring Land,” and true to its name, it features seawater hot springs. It also has a fitness room, making it ideal for those who want to keep active during their trip despite Busan’s delicious food.
There are no nap rooms, and it is not open 24 hours. Business hours are 4:30 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.

4. Bally Aqua Land

Bally Aqua Land is near Exit 5 of Busan Station on the subway, located in Chinatown. The entire 7th floor of the building is dedicated to this facility, which also includes a fitness gym area in addition to the jjimjilbang.
The area around Bally Aqua Land is known as Texas Street, where Russian sailors and others often gather at night. Perhaps for that reason, many Westerners are seen using this jjimjilbang.
Baths include hot water, herbal baths, and bubble baths. The jjimjilbangs range from about 30°C to 60°C, and the one with amethyst-lined walls is especially recommended.

◎ Summary

How did you like these recommended jjimjilbangs near Busan Station? We introduced ones along Subway Line 1 in areas like Nampo-dong and Seomyeon, convenient for sightseeing.
And of course, jjimjilbangs are associated with “yangmori”—literally “sheep head”—the towel folded to look like sheep horns. Just like in Korean drama sauna scenes, enjoying yangmori with boiled eggs and sikhye (sweet rice drink) makes for a fun and memorable part of your trip!
