36. Futaminoura

This coast stretches from Imaichishiki to Tateishizaki in Ise City, Mie Prefecture. It was actually the first officially recognized swimming beach in Japan, and Emperor Taisho is said to have practiced swimming here as a child.

A famous spot in Futamiura is the "Meoto Iwa" (Couple Rocks) at Futamiokitama Shrine, which I will discuss later. 39. Kongoshoji Temple

About 35 minutes by car east from Ise Shrine in Ise City, Mie Prefecture, you will come across Kongosho-ji Temple, which protects the shrine's evil direction.
