3. Canadian Club Brand Centre
During Prohibition in the United States, alcohol production and sales were banned. However, in Canada, alcohol production and exportation remained legal, leading to the establishment of numerous whiskey distilleries along Windsor’s riverfront.
One of the most iconic whiskies produced in Windsor is Canadian Club. It was created by Hiram Walker, a businessman from Detroit, who established a whiskey empire that exported Canadian Club to markets worldwide.
Today, the former headquarters has been transformed into the Canadian Club Brand Centre, where visitors can tour the historic site. There are the underground room where Walker held meetings with gangsters and his private office and historical exhibits.
The tour includes whiskey tasting and a complimentary souvenir, making it a favorite attraction among tourists!

Willistead Manor is a historic mansion near Detroit River, now open to the public as a tourist attraction. This estate was built at the request of Edward Walker, the second son of whiskey tycoon Hiram Walker. The name "Willistead" was chosen to honor Edward’s older brother, Willis, who passed away at a young age.
Covering 3 acres, the mansion features 36 rooms, available for dining events, weddings, business meetings, and private parties. The grounds include a public park, making it a great place to explore. The Christmas decorations at Willistead Manor are especially beautiful, making December one of the best times to visit!

5. Ojibway Nature Centre
For nature lovers, Ojibway Nature Centre is the perfect place to experience Windsor’s wildlife. The centre is a great spot for birdwatching, and visitors may even spot wild deer roaming freely!
