1. Kong Family Southern Ancestral Temple

The Kong Family Southern Ancestral Temple is said to be a shrine dedicated to Confucius, built during the Southern Song Dynasty. It is a historical tourist spot registered as an Intangible Cultural Heritage of China. Located in the downtown area of Quzhou City, it is very conveniently situated for sightseeing.
The grounds, spanning approximately 13,900 square meters, contain the shrine of Confucius, a spacious garden, a sacred gate, and the Ancestral God Shrine, offering many points of interest. Within the grounds stands a very tall stone statue of Confucius with a small head. Renovations were reportedly carried out between 1998 and 2000, with the Quzhou city government said to have invested 16 million yuan.
