The Fish Market is a fisherman-operated seafood market located within Fisherman's Wharf Shirahama. Here, you can enjoy fresh bonito, tuna, the famous Shirahama specialty "Kue," and other seafood caught at Yuzaki Fishing Port. There is also a sushi corner where you can eat the freshly landed seafood on the spot. In addition, fresh vegetables and fruits grown in the great nature of Nanki Kumano are sold. Since you can purchase seafood and eat it right there, if you’re curious about any ingredients, just ask one of the fishermen.

“Ichiba Shokudō” – Simple & Luxurious Seafood Bowl

They offer takeout pizza, as well as popular lunch sets that include a salad, bread, and soup featuring fish or meat as the main ingredient. Fisherman's Wharf Shirahama is equipped with a parking lot that can accommodate 120 vehicles, free for 1 hour. For those traveling by car, it is located about 15 km from the Nanki Tanabe IC. If your navigation system does not display it, use Yanagiya as a landmark. For those using the train, it is approximately a 20-minute bus ride from JR Shirahama Station, or about 15 minutes by taxi.
