At the Nagahama Beach located within Nagahama Seaside Park, both the South Parking Lot and North Parking Lot are available free of charge from August 26, 2024 (Monday)—right after the official beach season ends—until the start of the next beach season in 2025.

3. Nagahama Beach Opening 2024 – Enjoy a Safe and Fun Summer by the Sea
Nagahama Beach, located within Nagahama Seaside Park, will officially open for swimming on Saturday, July 6, 2024. The beach season runs from July 6 to August 25, 2024.
During the swimming period, lifeguards will be on duty daily from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, ensuring a safe environment for visitors. At the beach store, you can purchase swimsuits, goggles, and sand play sets, while rental services are available for items such as float rings, parasols, and summer beds.
Facilities include beach houses, snack corners, showers, and coin lockers, offering everything you need for a comfortable day by the sea. Please note that pets are not allowed within the beach area. With well-maintained facilities and beautiful coastal scenery, Nagahama Beach is a perfect destination for summer beach trips.
