1. Yumenoshima Park

Located about a 7-minute walk from Shin-Kiba Station (Tokyo Metro and JR), Yumenoshima Park is a park developed on the reclaimed land known as "Yumenoshima." Surrounded by canals, waterways, and greenery, it has become a popular tourist spot in Shin-Kiba.

Within the vast 430,000 square meters of the park, there are various sports facilities, the MARINA & GRILL where you can enjoy barbecues, and the dog run "Ino no Mori Dog Garden." Yumenoshima Park is also known as one of the best stargazing spots in Tokyo. Be sure to bring your camera and enjoy some stargazing while visiting Shin-Kiba.

2. Yumenoshima Tropical Greenhouse Dome

Located within Yumenoshima Park, the Yumenoshima Tropical Greenhouse Dome is a facility where you can observe unique tropical plants, including those native to the Ogasawara Islands, right in Shin-Kiba.

Opened in 1988, the highlight of this facility is the Grand Greenhouse. Divided into three domes, each featuring different themes, you can see a wide variety of tropical plants. There is even a pond inside the dome, giving you the feeling of being part of a jungle expedition! 6. Daigo Fukuryumaru Exhibition Hall

When visiting Shin-Kiba, one place you should stop by is the Tokyo Metropolitan Daigo Fukuryu Maru Exhibition Hall. It primarily displays the Daigo Fukuryu Maru, which was damaged during the U.S. hydrogen bomb test at Bikini Atoll in 1954, along with related documents and panels.

At the center of the hall is the wooden fishing boat that was exposed to the bomb. Through displays of actual death ash, letters, and models recreating the ship at the time of the bombing, visitors can feel the terrifying reality of nuclear weapons.

The hall is about a 15-minute walk from Shin-Kiba Station (Tokyo Metro, JR, Rinkai Line). Since it's located within Yumenoshima Park, it's an ideal addition to your visit to other nearby attractions.

7. Wakasu Seaside Park

Wakasu Seaside Park is a coastal park facing Tokyo Bay. This vast tourist spot offers a wide range of leisure activities such as golf, sea fishing, and cycling.

On a clear day, the cycling road around the park's perimeter is highly recommended! You can enjoy great views of nearby spots like Kasai Rinkai Park and Tokyo Disney Resort, as well as Mount Fuji and the Boso Peninsula. Bicycles are available for rent at the adjacent Wakasu Park.

Wakasu Park also features a campsite and cycling facilities, where you can enjoy barbecues and campfires. If you include this in your Shin-Kiba visit, you'll have an even more enjoyable time.

8. Tokyo Gate Bridge

The Tokyo Gate Bridge connects Wakasu Seaside Park and the outer reclaimed land of the Central Breakwater. The bridge is 2,618 meters long, with 1,618 meters spanning over the sea. Its unique design, resembling two dinosaurs facing each other, has earned it the nickname Dinosaur Bridge.

Wakasu Seaside Park is a great photo spot for the Tokyo Gate Bridge. The combination of the bridge, Mount Fuji, airplanes, and the sunset creates a stunning view that’s perfect for social media.

The Tokyo Gate Bridge is a general road with two lanes on each side, and it’s free to cross by car. However, motorcycles and bicycles are not allowed, so be mindful of that. The bridge also has a pedestrian walkway, making it a nice walk from Wakasu Seaside Park.

Note: Pedestrians can only walk round-trip from Wakasu Seaside Park. You cannot descend on the Central Breakwater side.
