Day trip to Gander Coast
Last weekend I had some time off, and my partner decided to take me to her hometown, Gander. It was just for a day, but the experience was unforgettable. We traveled with WestJet as they had fairly priced tickets. The flight was smooth with engaging in-flight entertainment. Gander is such a natural beauty with beaches, parks and ponds. We chose to go to Kittiwake Coast.Watching the calm water was such an incredible scenery. The beach was not crowded. Food by the sea side was so delicious, we even carried lobsters home to try out a new dish that we learned from one of the chefs. Gander is a wonderful city. I can recommend Gander for a getaway anytime.
Historic excursion in Gander
I had some time off work last weekend and I decided to take myself to an exciting yet educative place. I took a flight to Gander with Air Canada. I had a good time during the flight. The crew was so welcoming and responsive. The seats were comfortable and we were served snacks onboard. At Gander, I visited the Silent Witnesses Memorial, Cross of Sacrifice, and Commonwealth War Graves Commission Cemetery. At these three places, I learned the intriguing history of those who wholeheartedly sacrificed their lives for our country. I also visited the North Atlantic Aviation Museum where I learned about the significant role that Gander played during the World War II, in defending our nation.
